Added Value Tools and Activities includes Added Value Activities that are designed to be used when parents gather for events at your school. The activities are appropriate for use when parents are coming to awards or graduation ceremonies, musical or other performances, open house, track and field day or parent meetings that do not have a parenting component built into them.

Each Added Value Activity has a short introduction to inform families of the purpose and importance of the topic. Each activity takes from 2-15 minutes to complete. Some topics have follow-up activities for the parents to use at home with their children. Each activity has translated handouts in at least four languages (English, Hmong, Somali and Spanish).

As additional materials are developed, they will be added to this site and also printed for the notebook version.
