Learning at Home
Many parents are not aware of the opportunities to teach their children in their home and everyday when they’re together. Children who learn a lot from their parents and other family members can be more successful in school and in life.

Talk to your children about the different things that you see and the things  that you do. Cooking, cleaning, working, family things going on, community or  political activities and thoughts are all important things to talk to children about depending on their age. Be sure to ask them to share things with you also by asking them good questions that make them explain things to you. Be  sure to listen respectfully to their thoughts.
