Housing Resources

Housing resources include shelters, transitional housing programs, permanent supportive housing programs and drop-in centers (where those in homeless situations can link with a caseworker to obtain housing resource information).  Each program operates differently -  however, most expect that the client contact the program directly to determine eligibility.  When a family arrives at school seeking emergency information related to shelter, the appropriate resource telephone numbers can be given.

Although this resource list is helpful to school personnel assisting families and youth in accessing shelter and other resources, one can contact First Call for Help at 211 for more complete information.

We hope this information is helpful to you and look forward to our continued work together
