Each year, the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) status of Title I schools is determined based on the progress schools make in helping all students reach proficiency as measured by the State tests. Below you will find one document that contains two reports on the status of Title I schools in Saint Paul between 2005 - 2008.

The first section of the report, pages 1-10, gives a list of Saint Paul Public schools receiving Title I funding and the historical NCLB AYP results for each school for reading and mathematics for the years 2005-2008. The report is organized by school type:

Elementary
Junior High
Senior High School
Alternative Programs

and by their status for 2008:

No NCLB Sanctions
Not Achieving AYP for one subject
Not Achieving AYP for two subjects

The second section of the report, pages 11- 14, shows the schools according to the NCLB sanctions that are in place for 2008-2009 school year based upon previous AYP history. This section is organized by the following sanctions:

Stage 1 - School Choice
Stage 2 - Supplemental Services
Stage 3 - Corrective Action
Stage 4 - Preparing for Restructuring
